Mile Drive, California?

The so-called 17-Mile Drive around California's breathtaking Monterey Peninsula. The route (privately owned by Pebble Beach) stretches from Pacific Grove to Carmel, skirting the Pacific coast and passing through areas of the Del Monte Forest that belong to an elite golf enclave. In addition to surf-beaten cliffs, harbor seal colonies, and several viewpoint sites, the road provides breathtaking sunset vistas that are well worth the $11.25 admission charge to drive. The Monterey Bay Aquarium, located just off the 17-Mile Drive, has sunlight kelp forests, a petting pool, and a million-gallon exhibit with enormous sharks and sea turtles.

Leaving the mainland for Florida's Keys, visitors enter a paradise of beach bars, water sports, and Parrotheads (Jimmy Buffet fans). From Key Largo to Key West, the Overseas Highway connects the islands like beads, passing lighthouses, underwater coral reef parks, and the Seven-Mile Bridge, one of the world's longest. On the docks at Islamorada, visitors may hand-feed bait fish to tarpon over six feet long. The National Key Deer Refuge, located on Big Pine Key, is home to some of the island chain's most well-known inhabitants. geometry dash

The red rock magnificence of Utah is on full display on State Route 12, which winds between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon national parks. The 124-mile stretch features quirky little communities and few access and departure options, so seeing the high sandstone canyons and purple sage bluffs, as well as tackling the tight cliff-hanging ridgeline road known as The Hogback near the halfway mark, requires some dedication. Visit Escalante's picturesque log-and-sandstone Kiva Koffeehouse, open Wednesdays through Sundays from April to October, for a caffeine fix while admiring the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
